3-Gun Nation Provides a New Type of Local-Level Club Shooting Experience
Frostproof, FL -(AmmoLand.com)- With the advent of the new 3-Gun Nation monthly Club Series events being held at VIRginia International Raceway(VIR) this year, so brings a new supporter of 3-Gun Nation.
REV-Arms, based in Danville, Virginia, has officially become the title sponsor of each 2016 Monthly event at VIR.
However, the 2016 VIR / 3GN Competitive Shooting Weekend, presented by REV Arms, has yet another interesting wrinkle. The 2nd event, held March 19-20, will feature a new challenge: “Tame the Tower.”
Produced by 3GN Regional and Monthly Club Director Charles Sole, this “Tame the Tower” weekend will be unlike any other match.
“Tame the Tower” will be one continuous stage that will utilize all three guns. Targets will be engaged in a natural terrain setting, along with the 80-foot tower on the VIR Range complex. Competitors will face traditional and elevated angles of rifle, pistol and shotgun engagements, as well as long-range rifle targets.
“There will be an optional long distance bonus rifle target,” said Sole. “Awards will be presented for the top finishers in each division to include a high lady award, along with a random drawing for other fine products highlighted by REV Arms. Additionally, side stages will be available, and REV-Arms will also have demo products on the practice bays that weekend.”
However, one massive monstrosity of a stage isn't the only thing being offered at this event. Next week the 3-Gun Nation Pro Series kicks off its first events Wednesday and Thursday
“This will be a really cool event,” said Sole. “You can compare yourself on the same stages of fire as the Pro Series televised stages, which is a one-of-a-kind experience.”

Instruction will include one full range day covering range safety, pistol, shotgun and rifle skills and drills. The second day will cover more range work and mentorship from the instructors under match condition.
